Of flowers and “Abracada”
(This post includes unpaid advertising)
The last few weeks have been busy . Among other things, I finished two quilts on the Longarm. There was the quilt by Birgit. She had started this year, to sew so many existing fabric scraps, as possible. The result was a small quilt of green and white fabrics, combined with a red flower fabric. This top I quilted with swirls in the petals. Rulers were used for the stems and buds . Here you can see some pictures of the quilt:
Unfortunately, I missed the opportunity, to photograph the quilt in its full size. A slightly larger section:
Then a quilt from Heike found the way to my Longarm: The “Celtic Soltice”, sewn to a quilt pattern by Bonnie Hunter.
Heike has decided for the pantograph “Abracada” by www.urbanelementz.com decided. In my opinion, a good choice!
But see for yourself:
The pattern can be seen very well on the back.
The result is this beautiful quilt!
